The Brindle
Boys |
This is a picture of our original boys, Gunnar (fawn brindle, left) and Cerberus (red brindle, right) in their winter coats. These are the prototypes of our Varmint Garment coat system. Paco came into our lives 10 years ago after our beloved Gunnar went "just on up ahead". He has been a major cause of amusement and speculation. At 100+ lbs and with a snout more like a bear than a greythound people often ask "Are you sure he's a greyhound?". Paco was distraught over the loss of our "Big Dog", Cerberus last winter. So, we added Noah to the brood this fall. |

Cerberus at home on the porch. He loved to lounge outside during the summer months. Contrary to his white face, he was a VERY spry 4 years old. The "Bigdog" weighed 88 lbs. and was a major landshark around the kitchen. His favorite toys were squishy balls, and lamb like toys. He never liked cats, especially the marmalade variety, nor anyone who resembles a cat. |

Paco was Cerbie's NEW kennel and mischief friend. He looks too good for words here in his first try of his coat. Paco(taco or "PT") is 11 years old and still a sturdy 100 lbs. Since he was on the track for so long, he is a very BAD boy with cats, and to our horror, other small dogs! Paco loves to play and keeps an eye on our other 2 legged children. Everyday is a fresh breath for Paco. |
