Westelcom is pleased to announce they have upgraded their latest dial-up product, Accelerator/Pop-Up Blocker 5.0  – and is now included with all existing and new Westelcom dial-up accounts.  It will allow a dial-up user to surf the web up to 7.5 times faster then regular dial-up service.    Until this upgrade, the service increased speeds by 5 times.   

Accelerator also increases the speed of email traffic.  The Acceleration & Optimization Engine compresses data using a proprietary technology, and sends it over your existing dialup phone line, mobile network or other low-bandwidth connection. This compression process allows a smaller amount of data to be sent, making the download time of web pages much faster.
